Wow.........Over £500 raised already

Writer's picture: Simon AylettSimon Aylett

It's Friday folks! And this little venture was only made public yesterday, and you amazingly generous people have already raised over 500 quid for Prostate Cancer UK!!

So, in between work commitments, today will be spent with Ollie finalising the designs of the mad cap contraption that will be home for a month or two, the caravan.

It started a quite a few months ago with a sketch, that we now have to turn into reality.

Once we have the CAD designs ready, we will be ordering the aluminium and various other components to start "manufacture".

We'll also send them off to various parties to encourage as much public exposure and backing as possible. Philip Jones, PR guru and joint owner of Maxim PR will be working his magic in the background, attempting to elevate public awareness to our challenge, we love you BJ!

We have contacted Giant bicycles who are the manufacturers of my marvelous e-bike which I bought this time last year, and that has now covered 1200 faultless miles.

If anyone knows anyone who could help on lithium ion battery knowledge and on solar panel technology, please put them in touch with us, as that will be the next big challenge. The caravan isn't just a bedroom and kitchen, it will also gather and store the electricity that I will be leaning on heavily for the ride.

Have a splendid Friday all.

And a huge thank you to all of you that have already donated

xx
